GAME ONE
SCORE: #3 UAlbany 3, #5 Maine 1

KEY STATS
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Maine scored what proved to be their only run in the top of the first.
- UAlbany started hitting right away with back-to-back hits from Taylor Quinn and Sara Anderson.
- Junior Mary Kate Murray hit an RBI single to tie the score before the end of the first.
- Julia Pike struck out the first two batters in the top of the second.
- Kasey Conn started the second with a double to left center.
- Despite being originally called out, a review overturned the call and made it an infield single with an RBI for Katie Parisi to give the Great Danes a one-run lead.
- Deanna Grahek and Parisi singled in the third and fourth innings, respectively, but neither were able to score.
- Grahek doubled and two walks loaded the bases but the Black Bears held off any runs in the fifth inning.
- Parisi doubled to score Sara Anderson, who got on base with a single, to score what proved to be the final run of the game in the sixth inning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Taylor Quinn led off the game earning a base on balls. She made it to third but was unable to score.
- The Bulldogs took an early 3-0 lead before the end of the first.
- After two scoreless innings, the Great Danes combined for two hits in the top of the fourth. Bryant ended the inning with two UAlbany runners in scoring position.
- The Bulldogs compiled five hits, including a home run, to make it a 7-0 lead after four complete innings.
- Bryant took advantage of an error to score the final run and win the game in five innings.
NEXT: The 2026 season has come to an end. The Great Danes will return to action in a year for the 2027 season.
