GREAT DANE REWIND
- UAlbany holds a 3-11 record after three regular-season tournaments.
- After an 0-9 start to the season, the Great Danes closed the Make It Happen Games with a 5-4 win over Bethune-Cookman (Mar. 2).
- UAlbany most recently participated in the GW Invitational (3/8-9) hosted by George Washington in Washington, D.C. They played for two wins and two losses. Both wins came against Manhattan and both losses to the host, GW.
- With 14 games under their belt, three freshmen are batting over .300 - Charlotte Lomb, Ava Beal, and Sara Scozzari. Lomb is batting .346 over 26 at bats and Beal has a .455 batting average in 11 at bats.
- Sophomore transfer Taylor Quinn is leading the team with three extra-base hits - two doubles and one triple.
- Senior Caitlyn Frederick has started all 14 games and takes advantage of getting on base with six stolen bases in seven attempts. She is second in the conference in six stolen bases.
- Redshirt-senior Kate Powers leads the team in ERA and is tied with freshman Hailey Errichiello for the team-lead in innings pitched (31.0). Freshman Hayley Weiczerzak leads in strikeouts (19) after striking out 11 batters in a seven-inning complete game win on Sunday (Mar. 9).
ABOUT MOUNT ST. MARY'S
- The Mountaineers have started their season 5-11. They enter this weekend on a five-game losing streak.
- They participated in the JU classic hosted by Jacksonville where they picked up wins against Depaul (2/28) and Jacksonville (3/1).
- At the plate, Mount St. Mary's is led by Avery Dinges who is hitting .385, including five doubles. They have four players batting over .300 including Dinges, Taylor Williams, Tyra Christian, and Korri Brown.
- Lia Festai is leading the team with two home runs.
- In the circle, the Mountaineers are led by Olivia Murphy in both innings pitched (31.0) and ERA (3.16). Sophia Schmehl owns a team-high with 25 strikeouts.
ABOUT ARMY
- The Black Knights have started the season 9-10 while participating in the Southern California Tour (2/7-9), Columbus Classic (2/14-16), and the Mardi Gras Mambo (2/28-3/1).
- They picked up big wins against LMU on (2/7), UC Riverside (2/8), and Tennessee Tech (2/15).
- At the plate, the Black Knights are led by Ashton White, hitting .400, and Sienna Tepley, hitting .339.
- Caitlyn Newburn is leading the team with four home runs and 16 RBI.
- In the circle, Amanda Egglin and Breanna Izzo lead the way. Egglin holds a 3.63 ERA over 44.1 innings pitched and has racked up 37 strikeouts. Izzo has pitched a team-high 49.2 innings and has struck out 38 batters.

- The Great Danes were picked to finish first in the 2025 America East Preseason Coaches' Poll
- UAlbany earned 23 points with three first-place votes.
- Binghamton was close behind UAlbany with 22 points and two first-place votes.
- Kate Powers and Mary Kate Murray made the first-ever preseason all-conference team.

- Binghamton leads the conference with the only winning record (12-8).
