Short Story: The University at Albany Men's Basketball handed the Bryant Bulldogs its first conference loss of the season, defeating the Bulldogs on the road 68-63.
Coach Dwayne Killings: "A great win for us. we talked about before the game, The goal was 2 things: one, we must out-rebound them to win the game. We did that, 43-39. The second thing was we must make them compete with us… I thought we took the game right after the 1st minute. Once we settled in, we did some great things, and I thought our seniors looked after us."
Key Stats:
- Byron Joshua led the Great Danes, where in 40 minutes of work, he recorded 22 points, shooting 8-13 (61.5%), 2-5 from the three (40.0%), and 4-6 (66.7%) from the line, with three steals and two rebounds.
- Neely led UAlbany with nine rebounds while recording 12 points
- DeMarr Langford Jr. tallied 12 points, going 6-9 (66.7%) from the field for a team-high field goal percentage.
- Amar'e Marshall was the Great Danes leader in assists with three.
- Kheni Briggs, Langford Jr., and Marshall all recorded one block.
- As a team, UAlbany shot 26-62 (41.9%) from the field, 5-20 (25.0%) from the three, and 11-17 (64.7%) from the line.

How it Happened:
- UAlbany and Bryant started off exchanging baskets, keeping it tied 6-6 four minutes into the game before the Bulldogs hit a three to lead 9-6 with 15:33 to play.
- Trailing 12-8, the Great Danes would go on a 13-1 run, highlighted by six points from Justin Neely, to take a 21-13 lead halfway through the first.
- Bryant would knock down a three before a three from Kacper Klaczek, and driving layup from DeMarr Langford Jr. pushed UAlbany's lead to double digits, 26-16, with 6:14 left in the first.
- UAlbany closed out the half, outscoring the Bulldogs 15-12 as Byron Joshua led the Great Danes with a three-pointer, pulled up from the top of the box for two, and made free throw for a combined six points.
- Bryant recorded the opening basket of the second half as the Bulldogs outscored the Great Danes 8-6 in back-and-forth action with Amar'e Marshall, Kacper Klaczek and Joshua all recording baskets four minutes into the half as UAlbany led 47-36.
- Over the next four minutes, the Bulldogs would go on an 8-4 run, bringing their deficit to within five points as the Purple and Gold still led 51-44 with 10:55 left on the clock.
- Another 9-1 run by Bryant would have the Bulldogs take the 53-52 with 8:00 to play.
- A dunk from Langford Jr. would highlight the Great Danes answering back with a 6-0 run to lead 60-53 with just over 5:00 to play.
- A 10-6 run by Bryant in the next four minutes would see the Bulldogs make it a one-possession game at 64-61 and 66-63 with 42 seconds left.
- In the final seconds of the game, the Great Danes gained possession of the ball off a Bryant turnover, later sent Klaczek to the line who went 2-2 at the line with four seconds left as UAlbany handed Bryant its first conference loss of the season 68-63.
