Records: UAlbany (13-13, 5-6 America East), UML (15-10, 4-6 America East)
Short Story: The University at Albany men's basketball team became the fourth team since the 2022-23 season to defeat UMass Lowell at the Costello Athletic Center with a overtime win by a score of 90-88.
Coach Dwayne Killings: "The win showed huge character from our guys. It was a gritty win by our team. We came here, had some adversity in the game, and guys stuck with it. UMass Lowell is a good team; they're hard to beat at home, and I think they got four losses in the last three years in this building, and we just beat them in OT, where I think a lot of weaker-minded teams would have folded it. We're getting tougher, and we're getting better late in the year, and I'm super proud of our kids.
