RECORDS: UAlbany 18-4, 8-1 America East | Binghamton 11-11, 3-6 America East
SHORT STORY: A 26-point first quarter led the Great Danes to their second victory over Binghamton this season, Saturday afternoon.
COACH COLLEEN MULLEN: "I thought we played a terrific first half on both ends of the floor. The players executed the defensive game plan and showed a lot of toughness. Offensively, we had ball and player movement against a scrappy Binghamton zone. In the second half, Binghamton was able to speed us up with their pressure and changing defenses. Kayla [Cooper] had another outstanding performance and came up big with key offensive boards. This was a great team road win."
