ALBANY, N.Y. - The University at Albany softball team is set to begin the 2025 season in February.
 
The Great Danes will kick off 2026 in South Carolina. After a five-game weekend at Presbyterian, UAlbany will head to the Make It Happen Games at Madeira Beach for another five contests.
 
March sees one tournament - UMBC's Round Robin #2 - and an early-season home doubleheader against crosstown rival and MAAC runner-up Siena on March 11. 
 
Following the quick stop at UAlbany Field against the Saints, the Great Danes will prepare for four opponents on the road, including their first conference series - Bryant - on March 21-22. 
 
UAlbany returns home to host three consecutive events to close out March and open April.
 
Throughout April, the Great Danes will host UMBC and Bryant while visiting Binghamton and UMass Lowell for America East conference series. In addition to league action, UAlbany will visit Siena and Colgate and host a midweek doubleheader against CCSU.
 
The Purple and Gold will close the season on the road at Maine on May 1-2.
