HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Great Danes came out strong with junior Sophia Schoonmaker tallying the first shot in under three minutes of action.
- On the first penalty corner of the game, UAlbany totaled three shots - one of which ended up in goal.
- Nine minutes and 15 seconds into the contest, Küskes collected her own rebounded shot and lifted the ball over a defender for an unassisted goal.
- The Buckeyes tied the score three minutes into the second quarter before taking the lead with less than a minute left in the first half.
- UAlbany began the second half strong with two shots in three minutes but Ohio State extended their lead to two with less than a second remaining in the third quarter.
- The Buckeyes sealed the deal and ended the game with three goals in the fourth quarter.
