- Continuing their road stretch, UAlbany was swept in a three-game series by George Washington (3.3-3) and lost four contests to Purdue (3.9-10)
- After falling to Army, the Great Danes were swept in a three-game series at Georgetown (3.15-17).
- Opening conference play, UAlbany split a doubleheader against UMass Lowell (2.22) and then took two games in a three-game set against Maine (3.30-31).

The Dolphins have gone 19-27 this season with a 12-17 conference record in the NEC.

- The Dolphins fell to Bucknell (3.5) before they lost their series at LIU (3.8-9), and at Delaware State (3.15-17).
- After splitting a doubleheader at FDU (3.24), Le Moyne defeated St. Bonaventure (3.26) and swept Coppin State (3.28-30).
- Falling in game one of their series against Stonehill (4.6-7), the Dolphins won the next two contests before falling to Binghamton (4.9) in a midweek matchup.
- Le Moyne followed two losses at Sacred Heart (4.12-14) with a victory over Niagara (4.16) before being swept by Wagner (4.19-21).
- After defeating UAlbany, the Dolphins were swept by CCSU (4.26-28) and lost to Canisius (4.30) in a midweek clash.
- Following three wins against UMES (5.3-4) and one against Niagara (5.7), Le Moyne was most recently swept by Merrimack (5.10-12).
- Nick Nevins has been a force at the plate, recording a .302 batting average with a team-best 16 doubles and 35 RBIs.

2024 Captains
Will Binder,
Connor Eisenmann, and
Cregg Scherrer will serve as the captains for the Great Danes during the 2024 season. Binder enters his third season with UAlbany after starting his collegiate career at LaSalle. Since joining the Great Danes, he has started in 89 games and has a .325 batting average. Eisenmann returns to UAlbany for his fourth season. Through 37 appearances for the Great Danes, he has recorded a 5.93 ERA with 121 strikeouts and a .254 batting average against. Scherrer is a redshirt senior from Skaneateles, N.Y., entering his fifth season with the team. Appearing in 44 games, including 34 starts, Scherrer has struck out 195 batters and owns a 5.73 ERA.

2024 America East Preseason Poll
- UAlbany was picked to finish seventh in the 2024 America East Preseason Poll, earning eight points.
- The Bearcats were picked to finish first in the conference with 35 points, including five first-place votes.
- Maine, the defending champions, followed closely behind with 31 points and two first-place votes.
- UMBC (26) placed third, NJIT (19) fourth, and Bryant (18) fifth.
- UMass Lowell (10) and UAlbany rounded out the poll.

Bryant sits on top of the conference table having won 16 games in 21 contests. UMBC is second with a 12-9 record with NJIT trailing close behind having gone 10-10. UMass Lowell sits one win under .500 having gone 11-12. Binghamton has a .429 conference win percentage with UAlbany trailing having one less win. Maine rounds out the conference with a 7-13 conference record.
