- UAlbany took an early four-point lead in the first set thanks to kills by opposite hitter Elisavet Papageorgiou and held onto it until the score was 11-7.
- Binghamton closed the gap to tie the set at 15 and took the lead with a four-point scoring run.
- The Bearcats closed out set one with another four-point scoring run to win, 25-19.
- UAlbany started off strong again in the second set by taking the same 11-7 lead.
- The Great Danes kept pushing and eventually went up by six before Binghamton gained momentum and started to close the gap.
- The Bearcats went on a 10-1 scoring run to put them at match point and secured set two, 25-21.
- The final set opened with a Binghamton scoring run but kills from middle blocker Campbell Robinson gave UAlbany the advantage.
- The Great Danes tried to hold on but another 10-1 scoring run by the Bearcats put them over the edge.
- UAlbany tried with a late 6-1 push but Binghamton closed out set three, 25-19. This ended the match, 3-0.
