Short Story: The University at Albany women's soccer program hosted Senior Day in which the Great Danes came out victorious, 3-1. Prior to the match the Great Danes honored its four seniors, Gabriella Terranova, Joanna Van Royen, Claire Owens and Sophia DeMura

How it Happened:

• Kelsey Ramos attempted the Highlander's first shot in the '3, which resulted in Gabriella Terranova's first save of the match.
• In the '13 Emily Dorfman substituted for Gabriella Terranova in goal.
• Selma Elverum took the first shot for UAlbany in the '18 but missed on a shot wide right.
• In the '27 Elverum came back with a shot assisted by Sydney Waits and Claire Owens to give Albany 1-0 lead.
• Briana Andreoli scored with a shot for NJIT, making the score 1-1.
• Flo Bartholomai managed to put NJIT's deficit back at 1 thanks to a goal in the '39 assisted by Casey Stowell and Joanna Van Royen making the score, 2-1.
• Van Royen capitalized with a goal off an assist from Bartholomai in the '82, as time would go on to expire resulting in a 3-1 Great Danes victory.
