Short Story: The University at Albany women's soccer program traveled to the University of Vermont to Take on the Catamounts in what resulted in a 3-0 loss to UVM.
 
Key Stat Lines:
  • The Great Danes managed to take seven shots of which more than half were on goal while the Catamounts fired off 23 shots with eight on target.
  • UVM received 10 total corners to UAlbany's three. The Catamounts received 10 fouls and two yellow cards while the Purple and Gold finished with nine fouls and no cards.
  • Madison Hnis led UAlbany with two shots
  • Four Great Danes Emily Dorfman, Sydney Kofton, Mariella Fulcher, and Meredith Blannett played the full '90.

How it Happened:
  • Kate Bossert of UVM recorded the first shot of the match '1 into the contest.
  • Just over a minute later in the '2 Jill Brody put the Catamounts ahead 1-nil off an assist from Sydney Remington.
  • Emily Dorfman's first save of the match came off a shot to the middle of the net in the '5.
  • Flo Bartholomai was the first Great Dane to record a shot in the match at t the '7 mark which resulted in a save by Kylee Carafoli of UVM.
  • A goal by Bailey Ayer from outside the box just grazed under the crossbar as UVM took the 2-nil lead at the '12.
  • It wouldn't be until the '65 when the Catamounts found the back of the net for their third goal of the match and Ayer's second of the night to take a 3-nil lead.
  • Madison Hnis would record the Great Danes' final shot of the match before the full '90 expired.
