ALBANY, N.Y. - The UAlbany field hockey team will continue conference play this weekend hosting Maine.
In honor of her induction into the UAlbany Hall of Fame, the Great Danes will be welcoming Corrine McConville with a small ceremony ahead of the contest.

LAST WEEK IN REVIEW
- Winning 2-1 in overtime, the Great Danes hosted California on Friday.
- Assisted by junior Blanca Orsola, senior Charlotte Triggs scored the first goal of the contest.
- Junior Alison Smisdom notched the game-winning goal just over 90 seconds into overtime action. She was assisted by freshman Mara Küskes for the penalty-corner score.
- In its second match, UAlbany traveled to Bryant for a 4-2 victory (Sept. 24).
- Smisdom scored twice with graduate student Delphine Le Juene and redshirt-junior Jannelle Volk adding a goal. Küskes tallied two assists with Orsola adding a stick stop for a corner-goal assist.
GREAT DANE REWIND
- Starting the year with a 3-2 loss in double overtime to UMass, the Great Danes answered with a shutout win over Stonehill (Aug. 27).
- UAlbany fell to the current number-one team in the nation, Iowa (Sept. 3).
- The Great Danes won back-to-back games against Hofstra (Sept. 8) and Cornell (Sept. 10).
- UAlbany split the weekend defeating Towson (Sept. 16) before falling to Drexel in shootouts (Sept. 17).
- Most recently, the Great Danes won their first two conference games with an overtime victory against California (Sept. 22) and a two-goal win over Bryant (Sept. 24).
- Alison Smisdom leads the team with 25 points and 11 goals.
- Holding a team-high six assists, Mara Küskes trails Smisdom with one goal and eight points.
- Seeing a wide range of Great Danes contributing to the score, half of the field players have notched at least one goal or assist.
- In goal, junior Lara Behn leads with a 1.27 goals against average and a .737 save percentage in 472 minutes. Graduate student Hannah Mangan follows with 2.06 goals against average and a .556 save percentage in 117 minutes.
