Hannah Rowe for her play in her home state. We have played a tough schedule so far this year and it's showing through our growth."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- An early 3-0 scoring run, including a kill from Noa Brach, gave UAlbany a 5-4 lead in the first set.
- The Nittany Lions quickly came back with seven unanswered points to take an 11-5 advantage.
- Three more 3-0 scoring runs and #11 Penn State took the first set, 25-12.
- PSU opened the second set with seven straight points.
- UAlbany tallied six points as the Nittany Lions made their way to a 15-6 lead.
- Notching a 4-1 scoring run, the Great Danes closed the point gap but #11 Penn State still held a seven-point lead, 19-12.
- UAlbany made a late-set three-point scoring run but the Nittany Lions closed out the set with the win, 25-16.

- UAlbany tallied another three unanswered points to close the point gap but the Nittany Lions finished out the set to win, 25-10, thus taking the match, 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Great Danes started the match with three unanswered points.
- UAlbany continued with the lead, eventually gaining a 12-8 advantage.
- After being the first to 15, the Great Danes held the lead until the Bison tallied a 3-0 scoring run to tie the score at 19.
- Howard and UAlbany traded points back-and-forth until the Bison scored two final points to take the extra-point win, 27-25.
- The Bison jumped ahead in the second set with four points.
- After Howard gained a 15-5 lead, the Great Danes were unable to overcome the point gap and the Bison won the second set, 25-14.
- Similar to the second set, Howard jumped to a quick lead, 9-4, in the third.
- With a 6-1 scoring run, the Great Danes tied the score at 10.
- The Bison took back the lead with six unanswered points.
- Despite a late-set scoring run for three points from UAlbany, the Great Danes were unable to take the lead and Howard took the set, 25-16, and the match, 3-0.
