Short Story: The University at Albany men's basketball team fell to to Saint Joseph's University on the road on Thursday night, 99-79. The Hawks were able to build an early lead in the opening minutes and never looked back.
Da'Kquan Davis led the Great Danes in scoring with 32 points, going 6-11 from three-point range.

"Disappointed with our offensive performance in the first half… We got ourselves in a really deep hole really fast. I thought we got some pretty good looks, but then the ball got kind of stagnant… I thought we got a pretty good rhythm in the second half."
Key Stat Lines
- Da'Kquan Davis led the UAlbany offense with 32 points, shooting 8-15 from the field and 6-11 from beyond the arc. He had a team-high 35 minutes of time on the court. He also went 10-14 on free throws.
- Aaron Reddish finished with 15 points, going 5-9 from the field. He collected three rebounds while going 4-6 from the charity stripe.
- Tairi Ketner provided a spark off the bench early to get the offense going. He finished with eight points and a team-high six rebounds.

How it Happened:
- SJU jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead before UAlbany called it's first timeout. Cameron Brown started off with five for the Hawks.
- SJU pushed the lead to 12-0 before the first media timeout at the 15:30 mark. UAlbany started 0-6 from the field.
- The lead was extended to 20-4 by the U12 timeout. Ny'Mire Little and Da'Kquan Davis each collected a bucket for UAlbany.
- SJU made the score 35-6 by the U8 timeout with the Hawks shooting 52.6% from the field.
- From the 7:40 to 3:35 marks, the Great Danes went on a 17-9 run to bring the score to 44-23. Davis led UAlbany with 10 points, Tairi Ketner followed with six off the bench.
- SJU pushed their lead to the largest of the night, 30, by halftime. They entered the locker room with a 60-30 advantage.
- UAlbany shot just 27.6% (8-29) from the field and went 1-10 from three in the first half. SJU shot 59.3% (16-27) from the field and 61.5% (8-13) from deep.
