Early Advantage Leads to Road Win for Women's Basketball

SHORT STORY: The Great Danes pulled ahead in the first quarter and never gave up their lead. With a 64-50 final score, UAlbany defeated Navy, Wednesday night.

COACH COLLEEN MULLEN: "Tonight was a total team win. Everyone contributed to the road victory and it was great to see solid production from our young bench. Navy is a tough, physical team and we knew they were not going to go away regardless of the score. The team did a great job executing our pressures and knocking down free throws. We have a lot of positives to build upon as we prepare for a tough Colgate team."
