Â
COACH ANDY THORNTON: "We started the game very well, creating a great opportunity for the eventual goal. I felt, overall, it was a pretty even game with both teams playing for the win. I want to give credit to UMass for getting back in the game and earning the win. I'm really happy with our players' effort and attitude and playing until the very end. We pulled the goalie for the advantage and in turn created a good opportunity in the circle. We will take the lessons from this game and look towards our game at Penn State."
