Short Story: The University at Albany women's golf team secured a top three finish at the Tumble Brook Invitational on Friday, hosted by the University of Hartford. Eight teams participated in the event, with Boston University claiming the top spot (+9) and Quinnipiac finishing in second (+23). Megan Henry led the way for the Great Danes, finishing in a tie for third place overall with a score of 74, two strokes over par. Henry finished just two strokes behind Quinnipiac's Kaylee Sakoda and three strokes behind Boston's Hanako Kawasaki, the invitational's winner.

Coach Colleen Cashman-McSween: "I'm proud of the way Megan and Pasqualina played today. They both started out a little rocky but held it together for a couple solid scores. It was a bit of a struggle for the rest of the team unfortunately. Too many three-putts and too many mistakes that we just couldn't come back from. Looking forward to our next tournament at Sacred Heart."
