How it Happened:
- Vermont came out with early pressure and recorded three shots in the first seven minutes. UAlbany goalkeeper Carlos Tofern turned away the first, with next one high and the third blocked.
- Tofern made a huge save in the 41st minute to keep the game scoreless before the half, as he knocked down a hard shot from just outside the six-yard box by Vermont's Max Murray.
- Bjarki Ragnar registered the first shot for the Great Danes in the 43rd minute. Heading into haltime, Vermont led 5-1 in shots and 2-0 in shots on goal in a scoreless first half.
- The Catamounts ended the scoring drought at the beginning of the second half, with Jonathan Bryant burying a shot off a corner kick - his first goal of the season.
- Vermont's Zach Barrett increased the lead to two goals in the 50th minute off a corner kick from Bjarni Adalsteinsson, as the Catamounts took a 2-0 lead.
- With UAlbany unable to get on the scoresheet, Vermont took a 2-0 victory in the Great Danes' final home game of the regular season.
