Â
Location:Â Alumni Turf in Albany, N.Y.Â
Â
Records: UAlbany (5-4, 4-3) | Cal (3-6, 2-4)
Â
Short Story:Â UAlbany had a major edge in shots, 21-5, and corners, 17-5, but Cal made the most of its chances and defeated the Great Danes 3-1.
Coach Phil Sykes: "I think we started flat and then we had to play catch-up the whole time. I think we outplayed them in many regards but when you give up a goal early, it's tough mentally. Even though we lost 3-1, we had so many chances and the rain made the play sloppy."Â
