Head Coach Trevor Gorman: "Of course we wanted to finish the regular season with a victory but we are proud to finish with 10 wins and a home quarterfinal ahead of us. We gave up an early goal and that changed the game. We will prepare for our second season no and look to turn in a top performance on Saturday."

How it Happened
- Stony Brook scored first, when Sean Towey launched a serve into the UAlbany box from the right sideline. Bas Beckhoven connected with the serve with his head, redirecting the ball low past UAlbany goalkeeper Carlos Tofern in the ninth minute.
- Stony Brook finished the first half holding a 6-3 advantage in shots, and did not allow a UAlbany shot after the 20th minute.
- In the 82nd minute, Austin DaSilva volleyed a serve towards the goal from the top of the Stony Brook box, beating Seawolves goalkeeper Edmond Kaiser, but his shot sailed just high over the crossbar. Shortly after, Adam Aoumaich's shot deflected off a Stony Brook defender and towards the goal before Kaiser made the save to keep UAlbany off the board.
- The game ended with Stony Brook winning by the same score, 1-0. After suffering a shots deficit in the first half, UAlbany's defense locked down to only allow Stony Brook to take one shot after halftime, though all four of UAlbany's second-half shots came in the final 20 minutes.
Next: UAlbany hosts an America East quarterfinal game on November 6 at 7:00 pm. Their opponent will be six-seed NJIT.
