Head Coach Trevor Gorman: "We gave a very good second-half performance tonight. We played on the front foot, with tempo, and created many great chances. On another night we could have scored two or three. Unfortunately, our first half wasn't up to our standard and we dug ourselves a hole. We'll need to build on the second half on Saturday in a very important conference game."

How it Happened
- Dartmouth nearly scored in the first four minutes, when draw toward the middle led to a dribbler past UAlbany goalkeeper Carlos Tofern. The ball bounced softly off the far post and was cleared away just before crossing the line, denying the Big Green an early lead.
- On one of its five corner kicks in the first half, Dartmouth's Louis Weisdorf served from the left corner towards the far post, where Bern Jenkins redirected the ball into the back of the net to put the Big Green up 1-0. Dartmouth had had chances on earlier corner kicks, but was denied by Tofern.
- Immediately after the break, Dartmouth caught the UAlbany defense and Tofern out of position, but missed the far shot on the open net high over the bar. UAlbany responded shortly after by nearly forcing an own goal from Dartmouth on a draw, resulting in the first of two back-to-back Great Dane corner kicks.
- UAlbany dominated play overall in the second half, outshooting Dartmouth 11-5 and drawing eight corner kicks while allowing just one. However, despite their chances, the Great Danes were unable to break through and fell to the Big Green by a final score of 1-0.
Next: UAlbany visits Hartford on October 9.
