How it happened
- For the third straight game, UAlbany got on the board first, scoring one run in the top of the fourth
- Connor Powers hit a leadoff double and advanced to third when Marc Wangenstein flied out to left center
- Travis Collins grounded out to first, allowing Powers to cross the plate from third
- James Madison scored twice in the bottom of the inning to take a 2-1 lead
- The Dukes added two more runs in the bottom the fifth
- UAlbany scored once in the top of the sixth when Powers hit a double to right scoring Brad Malm from second with one out
- James Madison added two insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth to secure the 6-2 victory
