Albany, N.Y.
- It took an extra inning, but UAlbany recorded a 7-6 win over Stony Brook in
the series finale between the two teams on Sunday afternoon at Varsity Field.

single by Mike Tirri in the seventh pulled UAlbany to within 5-4. Stony Brook

double by Gordon Madej and a base hit by Nolan Gaige that sent the tying run
home in the bottom of the inning.

a scoreless ninth, relief pitcher Ryan White allowed a lead-off hit by Willie
Carmona, but got Josh Mason to hit into a double play in the next at bat. After
a walk to Kevin Krause, Cole Peragine hit a fielder's choice that got Krause
out at second and give the Great Danes another chance to seal up the victory.

Madej. After the Seawolves intentionally walked Lepre, Gaige got hit by a pitch
to load the bases. Hoagboon stepped to the plate to pinch hit and drove the
ball up the middle, plating Welsh and securing the win.
