Brooke Kraham '11 returns to her UAlbany roots, having graduated from the University in 2011 after a dazzling career in which she was named 2009 America East Player of the Year and America East Setter of the Year three times. In addition, Kraham was named the America East Tournament Most Outstanding Player in 2007 and Player of the Year in 2009. Kraham sits second in the UAlbany record books with 4,851 career assists and sits in first among all UAlbany volleyball players with 21 America East Weekly Awards. She also served as an assistant coach for the Great Danes from 2013-15.
Kraham has most recently served the local community as a teacher assistant and volleyball coach for the Chatham Central School District. At Chatham, Kraham led the varsity program while also developing a middle school competitive team. She also helped develop summer volleyball camps to encourage greater youth participation in the sport of volleyball.
Kraham currently resides in Ghent, N.Y. with her husband Zach Kraham, a former UAlbany baseball player, and their son, Beau.
