At UAlbany

Adam Rollman joined the UAlbany volleyball staff in 2019 as the program’s defensive coordinator. After three years of running the defense and blocking, Rollman is set to coach the offense along with the Great Danes' passing efforts. As the recruiting coordinator, other major duties including social media and scouting.

In his first season with the Great Danes, Rollman helped bring the team to their first America East Championship title since 2011. After defeating Hartford in a five-set match, UAlbany finished the season with a contest against #2 Texas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Rollman, along with the rest of the coaching staff, were named the 2019 America East Coaching Staff for their efforts.

The 2020-21 season saw a shortened schedule that was played in the spring of 2021. The Great Danes worked for a share of the America East Regular Season title but fell in a hard-fought five-set match against UMBC. UAlbany's student-athletes claimed two major awards from the America East - Defensive Specialist of the Year (Charlotte Macken) and Palyer of the Year (Kamara Kelly).

In 2021, the Great Danes went 13-14 in the regular season with an 8-4 league record. Fifth-year Danielle Tedesco was named America East Player of the Year, giving UAlbany two-straight America East Players of the Year.

Rollman was elevated to Associate Head Coach prior to the start of the 2022 season. 
 

Playing Career

Rollman was a four-year starter as an outside and opposite hitter for the men’s club team at Nebraska, serving as the club president his senior year and helping the team to top-10 national finishes in each of his four seasons.
 

Prior to UAlbany

Rollman has accumulated extensive coaching experience since graduation from Nebraska in 2012. Before arriving to the Capital Region, he served as an assistant coach at Missouri State for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. He worked primarily as the Bear’s recruiting coordinator and defensive specialist coach. Rollman also served a year as the attacking positions coach, helping Missouri State to its first undefeated conference record, 18-0, in conference history.
