Biography

2019: Appeared in one game… had one solo tackle at Central Michigan (8/29).

2018: Appeared in nine games with two starts... totaled 11 tackles (four solo). Had two tackles for a loss... recorded four tackles with one sack and forced a fumble against Morgan State (9/15)... tallied one quarterback hurry and a pass break-up in the season opener at Pitt (9/1).

2017: Played in eight games, finishing with four tackles (two solo), a tackle for loss and a sack. 

2016: CAA Academic All-Conference Team... played in six games on the defensive line, recording a solo tackle in win at Rhode Island (9/10).

2015: CAA All-Academic Team… redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played three seasons of football and baseball for the Crimson … Totaled 30 sacks in his career, including 14 as a senior, good for top-6 in the state … Also averaged 21 yards per catch at the tight end position ... Named Morris and Sussex County Tight End of the Year and first-team all-county as a senior … Earned second-team all-county and MSG Varsity honorable mention all-state as a junior.

PERSONAL: Son of Jerry and Kathy Grogg … Has two brothers, Will and Steve, and a sister, Christina … Intends to major in communications.
