Biography

2019: Appeared in all 14 games on the defensive line… had 31 tackles (16 solo) and 6.5 tackles for loss including 3.5 sacks… had two blocked kicks... had three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble… returned a fumble recovery for a 55-yard touchdown vs. Rhode Island (10/19).

2018: Appeared in four games with three starts before sitting out due to injury... recorded nine tackles (three solo).

2017: Appeared in all 11 games on the defensive line... finished with 12 tackles (5 solo), 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a fumble recovery.

2016: Appeared in 10 games on the defensive line... recorded 13 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble... two sacks and three tackles in comeback victory at UNH (11/12).

2015: Played in six games … totaled two tackles … had a solo tackle in win over Delaware (11/7) and an assisted tackle vs. Villanova (10/17).

MILFORD ACADEMY: Played the 2014 season for Milford Academy… totaled 10 tackles for a loss, including four sacks, and recovered a fumble… helped the Falcons to an 8-3 record … a teammate of fellow 2015 commit, Zee Roberson.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of football at Shaker HS and served as team captain his senior season … Led the Blue Bison to a Section 2 Championship and an appearance in the Class AA Super Bowl his junior season … Named the Class AA Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year … Also named all-area and all-state defensive tackle and Shaker HS Lineman of the Year.

PERSONAL: Son of Jennifer Griffin … Has two sisters, Kendall and Payton … Intends to major in human biology.
