ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany Women's Rowing team has announced its 2026 fall schedule, featuring four regattas across New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts beginning in late September.
The fall season will open on Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Mohawk Fall Classic on the Mohawk River in Schenectady, N.Y., giving the Great Danes their first opportunity to race close to home.
The following week, UAlbany will travel to Hartford, Conn., for the Head of the Riverfront on Sunday, Oct. 4. The regatta will take place on the Connecticut River as the Great Danes continue their fall campaign against regional competition.
The Great Danes will then make the trip to Boston for the Head of the Charles Regatta, held Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17–18, on the Charles River. UAlbany is scheduled to compete in the Women's Club Fours event at one of the largest and most prestigious regattas in the world.
The fall season will conclude with another local regatta on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Head of the Fish on Fish Creek in Saratoga, N.Y. The popular event will give the Great Danes a final opportunity to compete before turning their attention toward the spring season.
