GAME ONE
SCORE: UAlbany 8, UMass Lowell 0 (5 innings)

- Senior Sara Anderson led the team with four hits and had one RBI.Â
- Junior Taylor Quinn recorded two RBI from two hits.Â
- Sophomore Hailey Errichiello pitched a complete game where she struck out four batters, only walked one, and only allowed four hits.Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Taylor Quinn got the Great Danes on the board early with a single that drove in Sara Anderson and Julia Pike.Â
- Quinn and Mary Kate Murray both made it home on an error by the third baseman to make it a 4-run inning for UAlbany.Â
- Due to strong defensive efforts on both sides, neither team recorded any runs in the second inning.Â
- The Great Danes added three runs in the bottom of the third to extend their lead, 7-0.Â
- Quinn made it home on a throwing error by the catcher.Â
- Redshirt junior Gaelen Kelly drove in senior Kasey Conn with a single down the left field line.Â
- Sara Anderson singled to send sophomore Kaitlyn Parisi.Â
- In the top of the fourth, Katie Parisi, Conn, and Murray combined for a double play to get out of the inning.Â
- Anderson singled through the left side, which sent Ava Beal home to close out a dominant 5-inning game for UAlbany. Â

KEY STATS
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Defensively, both teams got out to a strong start. For the first two innings both teams landed runners on base, but were unable to bring anyone home.Â
- UMass Lowell got on the board first with two runs in the top of the third.Â
- In the fourth inning, both defenses prevailed once again and no runs were scored.Â
- Freshman Katie Parisi hit a double in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game for the Great Danes.Â
- The River Hawks added one run to their total in the sixth to retake the lead, 3-2.Â
- Sophomore Mary Kate Murray singled in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game at three, and send it into extra innings.Â
- Ultimately, UMass Lowell prevailed in the eighth inning, 4-3.Â
