Short Story: The University at Albany men's basketball team fell to UMass Lowell Saturday night at Broadview Center.
Coach Killings: "I want to apologize to everyone who braved the 15-degree weather to support us, because our effort wasn't where it needed to be. UMass was tougher and more physical, and I didn't get our team ready for that kind of game—they out-rebounded us, created second-chance points, and outplayed us, especially in the second half. We had opportunities, even with a short roster, but we didn't guard or compete well enough. Credit to them for a great win, and I'm disappointed in our performance."
