  • Delanie Hill caught fire from the perimeter by knocking down two triples in the final minute of the period to help stretch the Great Danes' advantage.
  • Amaya Stewart added a layup in traffic as UAlbany capped an efficient offensive frame, leading 23-19 after one.
  • The Great Danes continued to generate looks from three as Hill connected early, but Binghamton responded with a series of drives and second-chance finishes.
  • The Bearcats were able to create a 10-point lead with just under three minutes until half before a couple of layups from Hill cut the advantage to five and UAlbany headed into halftime down 39-34.
  • Coming out of the break, Júlia Palomo Vicente drilled a three from the wing, and Gabriela Falcão converted inside to keep the Great Danes within striking distance.
  • Binghamton answered with timely threes and paint touches to push the margin to as many as nine late in the third frame.
  • Starting with a seven-point deficit, UAlbany came out with energy to start the final period as Lara Langermann, Borrellas, and Stewart attacked the rim, sparking an 8-2 run that pulled the Great Danes even.
  • Borrellas finished at the rim to tie it at 58 before Palomo Vicente buried a clutch right-wing triple to give UAlbany a three-point lead with just under three minutes remaining.
