Men’s Basketball Rolls to Victory Over Binghamton

Location: Broadview Center | Albany, N.Y.

Records: UAlbany (6-12, 2-1 America East), Binghamton (4-15, 0-4 America East)

Short Story: The University at Albany men's basketball team earned its second conference win in a row on Thursday night in a SUNY Showdown vs Binghamton

Coach Killings: "Great win for our program. Binghamton did a good job trying to slow us down in the first half, but we made the necessary adjustments. I told our team we have to get addicted to winning, and playing one of the toughest mid-major schedules in the country is preparing us for league play… and it showed today. Tarique Foster really stepped up; the non-conference season didn't always go his way, but his preparation over the last two weeks paid off as he grabbed 12 [points], seven rebounds, and was a huge factor. Overall, it was a true team effort, and I'm proud of our guys… they're getting hungry, figuring things out, and this was a big win for us."
