- Ethan Nardacci started the game for the Great Danes and Ryan Packard started on the mound for Binghamton.
- UAlbany struck first in the top of the first, after Jared Toby knocked in Luke Myers with a single.
- The Danes then scored five in the top of the second. Cooper Loyal singled to right bringing home Michael Maggio. Ryan Ferremi tripled scoring Myers, Victor Mazzara and Loyal. Levi McAllister then doubled to bring around Ferremi.
- Binghamton scored one in the bottom of the second.
- UAlbany then extended their lead to 8-1 in the top of the third highlighted by Loyal scoring on a Myers double.
- Binghamton scored three in the bottom of the third and one in the bottom of the fourth.
- Thomas Quinn came in to pitch for the Danes in the bottom of the fifth.
- Luke Filippi and Jared Toby helped the Danes extend their lead to 11-5 with a double and single respectively.
- Alex Enea came in to pitch for the Danes in the bottom of the eighth.
