HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mary Kate Murray tallied the first hit of the game with a single to left field in the top of the first.
- In four batters, the Great Danes had three runners on base - Victoria Vilarchao (hit by pitch), Sara Anderson (single), and Vanessa Meyers (single) - with just one out in the second.
- Sara Scozzari drove in the first run of the game with a sac fly to right field.
- Senior Caitlyn Frederick followed up with an infield RBI single to make it a 2-0 game.
- In both the second and third innings, the UAlbany defense retired the Bulldogs in order while Kate Powers struck out four in three innings.
- Bryant put a run on the board in the fourth before taking a 5-2 lead in the fifth inning.
- After singles from Vilarchao and Anderson in the top of the sixth, the Great Danes had two runners in scoring position.
- Meyers drove in freshman Ava Beal for another run but the Bulldogs ended the inning before UAlbany was able to tie the score.
- Bryant added two runs in the bottom of the sixth and left two Great Danes on base in the top of the seventh to secure the 7-3 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Christie Collins caught a fly ball and threw to first base to complete a double play and clear the bases in the bottom of the first.
- Bryant notched the first hit - a triple - in the first inning but the runner was left at third with another fly ball to Collins.
- Victoria Vilarchao slammed a double to center field before Deanna Grahek drew first base on a walk in the top of the second. Both were left in scoring position at the end of the inning.
- The Bulldogs replaced their pitcher in the top of the third and UAlbany was unable to get on base for three complete innings.
- Caitlyn Frederick slapped a single down the left-field line in the top of the fifth but was called out trying to turn it into a double.
- Charlotte Lomb added a second double for the Great Danes to lead off the sixth inning.
- Despite putting a second base runner on with a walk for Mary Kate Murray, neither scored and the game remained tied at zero heading into the seventh inning.
- Once again in the top of the seventh, UAlbany left two runners on after Sara Anderson singled and Frederick walked.
- The Bulldogs loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh and a one-out single down the left-field line ended the game, 1-0, in Bryant's favor.
NEXT: The Great Danes will close out the regular season with a final home series against Binghamton (May 2-3).
