HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kate Powers ended the top of the first with a five-pitch, one-ball strikeout swinging.
- Taylor Quinn tallied the first hit of the game, between both teams, in the bottom of the first.
- The UAlbany defense allowed the first Binghamton hit in the third inning but retired the batters in order in the top of the fourth.
- Christie Collins singled down the left-field line in the bottom of the fourth but was left on base.
- In the bottom of the fifth inning, Sara Anderson doubled with two runners on to drive in Jenny Nardelli from second base.
- After a scoreless sixth inning, Binghamton tied the score at one in the top of the seventh.
- With two consecutive errors and a walk, the Bearcats loaded the bases in the top of the eighth. A double play left a runner on second but one runner scored to take a 2-1 lead.
- Binghamton ended the top of the eighth with a 4-2 lead after two additional unearned runs on a double.
- The Great Danes started the eighth strong with a single from Ava Beal and a single from Caitlyn Frederick.
- With both Beal and Frederick in scoring position, Taylor Quinn slammed a single to right center for two RBI but was caught trying to turn it into a double.
- Despite putting two additional runners on - Mary Kate Murray walk and Vanessa Meyers - UAlbany was unable to score another run to tie or win the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Binghamton started strong with a run in the first inning after a leadoff single.
- With a second hit in the second inning, the Bearcats extended their lead to two.
- After a scoreless third inning, Caitlyn Frederick slammed the ball down the right-field line for a triple and the Great Danes first hit of game two.
- Binghamton added three runs on a homer in the top of the fifth.
- Dominique Prevette took over in the circle shortly after the home run and struck out the second batter she faced as the defense combined for three consecutive outs.
- UAlbany answered with a run in the bottom of the fifth.
- Victoria Vilarchao doubled to open the inning and, pinch-running, Jenny Nardelli scored on a fielding error.
- The Bearcats added a run in the sixth inning.
- The Great Danes hit a stride in the seventh inning and quickly loaded the bases.
- Sara Anderson tabbed an infield single for a run and Frederick followed up with a single as two Great Danes scored to make it a 6-4 game.
- After Christie Collins once again loaded the bases, Ava Beal tallied an RBI with a groundout and with two outs on the board, UAlbany was down by just one run.
- Mary Kate Murray hit what could have been the game-winning line drive but the first baseman made a great play to stop the ball and get the final out at first for the Binghamton win, 6-5.
NEXT: Due to weather, the final game in the series has been canceled. The Great Danes will return to action at the America East Championship Tournament (May 7-10). Seeding will be announced following the final regular-season games on Saturday (May 3).
