Head Coach Jon Mueller: "It was a heavyweight fight for 5 hours. Matt Mariano came in and threw 8 innings. Most of them tied and little room for error. He was tremendous. The defense was steady all day and Levi McAllister turned the tide with his second homer. Top five games I have ever coached. On to tomorrow for the finale."

• Tyler Kneller started the game for the Great Danes and Michael Belcher started on the mound for Bryant.
• UAlbany started the scoring in the top of the first after Jared Toby drove in Luke Filippi with an RBI single.
• In the top of the second, Victor Mazzara hit a sac fly to right field which scored Cooper Loyal.
• Levi McAllister launched a two-run blast in the top of the third to make the score four to nothing.
• Bryant answered right back in the bottom of the third with a Gavin Noriega solo home run.
• The Bulldogs brought in Mark Scamardella to pitch in the top of the fourth.
• The Danes brought in Ryan Pittz to pitch in the bottom of the fourth.
• In the bottom of the fourth, Pat D'Amico hit a two-run home run to draw within one of UAlbany.
• With one out in the bottom of the sixth, Thomas Quinn came in to pitch for UAlbany.
• Bryant then scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth after Zac Zyons doubled, scoring Gavin Noriega, and a single by Gavin Greger that scored Zyons and Durand.
• Brooks Ey came in to pitch for Bryant in the top of the seventh.
• Michael Maggio was hit by a pitch in the top of the seventh that scored Jared Toby and cut Bryant's lead to one.
• Sean Zaslaw then came in with one out in the seventh for Bryant.
• The Danes then took a seven to six lead after Victor Mazzara and Luke Myers both walked with the bases loaded.
• Landon White came in to pitch for Bryant with two outs in the seventh.
• In the bottom of the seventh, a ground rule double by Pat D'Amico scored Matt D'Amato to tie the game.
• Matt Mariano then came in to pitch for the Danes with no outs and two runners on in the seventh.
• In the top of eighth, Ryan Ferremi hit a solo home run to take an eight to seven lead.
