 The University at Albany women's lacrosse team fell at home to the nation's top ranked team in Boston College on Wednesday afternoon, 20-4.

How it Happened:  
  • The Great Danes scored the first goal of the day five minutes into the game when Gracie McCauley found the back of the net on a pass from Emma Weaver.
  • The Eagles went on to score the next four goals to end the first quarter up 4-1. Rachel Clark scored twice, with Maria Themelis and Devon Russell each scoring once.
  • The Eagles started the second with two goals in the first two minutes.
  • UAlbany's Courtney Rowe broke the Eagles' scoring run when she scored her 11th of the year with 11:56 remaining in the second.
  • Boston College responded with back-to-back goals to push the lead to 8-2 by the latter stages of the second.
  • The Eagles slipped two more in before time expired in the first half, with Mia Mascone and Rachel Clark expanding the lead to 10-2.
  • Rowe scored her second of the game to open the third, making it 10-3.
  • Boston College would go on to score five unanswered goals to end the third.
