How it Happened:
- Stony Brook opened the game scoring just over four minutes in.
- The Great Danes would answer back going on an early 4-0 run over seven minutes to take a 4-1 lead, highlighted by two goals from Ava Poupard and two assists each from Haley Phalines and Mikaela Mooney.
- With two and a half minutes remaining in the first, the Seawolves would go on to score the final two goals of the quarter to make it a 4-3 UAlbany lead after 15 minutes of play.
- Within 30 seconds early in the second, Stony Brook would regain the lead 5-4 after scoring twice in 20 seconds.
- At 11:11 Paisley Cook would get UAlbany back on the board to tie it 5-5 for the third goal of the season.
- Over seven minutes, the Seawolves would score five unanswered goals to jump ahead 10-5 with one minute remaining in the second quarter.
- As the clock winded down, Gracie McCauley tallied her second goal of the game with six seconds left in the half off a women-down goal, thanks to an assist from Courtney Rowe as Stony Brook led 10-6 after two-quarters of play.
- Stony Brook struck first out of the second half scoring two goals In the opening five minutes to take a six-goal lead, 12-6.
- Dylana Williams would tally her first goal of the Tucker Out Lymphoma Game with 6:24 to play in the third for her sixth goal of the season as the Great Danes trailed 12-7.
- Poupard would score her third goal of the game for a hat trick on a woman-up goal off an assist from D. Williams, bringing UAlbany's deficit to four, 12-8.
