th, at 6:30 pm for their America East Spread Respect Game. Saturday, February 22, will be the Great Danes' final regular season home game as they take on New Hampshire at 7:00 pm for Senior Night, with the senior ceremony taking place during pregame festivities.

Scouting Maine
The Black Bears are coming off a 65-61 conference loss to Vermont at home. As a team, Maine is averaging 71.8 points per game while allowing an average of 65.3 points per game. They average 26.7 field goals, 6.7 threes, 11.8 free throws, 31 rebounds, 15.3 assists, 10.8 turnovers, 9.4 steals, and 3.2 blocks per game.
The highest scorer for the Black Bears is Aj Lopez, who leads the team with 389 points and an average of 15 points per game. Lopez is shooting 133-271 (.491%) from the field, 50-113 (.442%) from three-point range, and 73-81 (.901) on free throws. Kellen Tynes has tallied the most total minutes for Maine, with a total of 868 minutes and an average of 33.4 minutes per game. Tynes also leads the team with 124 assists and 82 steals.

Kacper Klaczek (16),
Amar'e Marshall (15), and
Kheni Briggs (10). Klaczek was UAlbany's most productive player offensively, shooting six for nine from the field, one for two from three, and three for four on free throws while also leading the team with seven rebounds (five off, two def) in 29 minutes on the court. Since 2013, the Great Danes are 16-9 against Maine but have lost the last five.
Scouting New Hampshire
UNH is coming off an 80-79 win against UMass Lowell from Saturday, February 15, and will face the Binghamton Bearcats on Thursday, February 20, before coming to UAlbany. Throughout 27 games, the Wildcats currently average 67.2 points, 24.3 field goals, 8.0 threes, 10.6 free throws, 34.5 rebounds, 11.4 assists, 13.4 turnovers, 5.2 steals, and 2.4 blocks per game.
Sami Pissis leads the Wildcats with 406 points, with 130 for an average of 15.6 points per game and 70 assists for 2.7 assists per game. He's currently shooting 130-368 (.353%) from the field and 59-195 (.303%) from the three-point line. Following Pissis is Anthony McComb III with 381 points for 14.1 points per game. McComb III leads the Wildcats at 132-344 (.384%) from the field and is 38-124 (.306%) from the point range.
Emmanuel Okpomo had grabbed the most rebounds for UNH with 136 (52 off – 84 def), averaging 5.2 per game. Okpomo has also blocked the most shots of any Wildcat, with 13 blocks for an average of 0.5 per game. Jawrie Hamelin is the Wildcats leader in steals, with 26 for an average of 1.2 per game.

January 9, 2025 | The University at Albany men's basketball program took on New Hampshire Saturday night, coming away with a 61-57 win against the Wildcats.
DeMarr Langford Jr. led the Great Danes offense with a career-high 23 points, shooting 9-12 (75.0%) while going 5-6 (83.3%) at the line and a career-high 11 rebounds (4 off – 7 def) with two steals and one block.
Amir Lindsey went 2-3 beyond the arc.
Amar'e Marshall tied Langford Jr. for a team-high 5-6 at the free throw line.
Kacper Klaczek was a problem for the Wildcats blocking three shots! UAlbany shot 22-52 (42.3%) from the field, recorded three shots beyond the arc, and 14 -18 (77.8%) at the charity line.

February 13, 2025 | The UAlbany men's basketball team was on the road to take on UMass Lowell for the second time this season and was able to come away with a 90-88 win in overtime.
Byron Joshua led the scoring for the Great Danes with a total of 19 points, shooting 7-17 (41.2%) from the field and 1-3 (33.3%) from beyond the arch and going 4-6 at the free throw line.
DeMarr Langford Jr. tallied a team-high eight rebounds and five assists while also scoring 13 points. As a team, UAlbany shot 35-71 (49.3%) from the field, 8-18 (44.4%) from the three, and 12-20 (60.0%) from the free throw line.

Dwayne Killings and Colleen Mullen, along with select student-athletes, will join ESPN Radio 104.5 The Team's Charlie Voelker and Dan Bahl every Monday from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. live from City Line Bar & Grill for a weekly segment entitled 'Drive the Lane with UAlbany Hoops'.
Fans are invited to come out to City Line Bar & Grill to join Coach Killings, Coach Mullen, student-athletes, and the ESPN Radio 104.5 Team crew. Food and drink specials will be available every week as the teams embark on their new seasons and talk hoops every Monday.
Postgame Show
The UAlbany Basketball Postgame Show returns this season to 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio. The show will begin immediately following all games, home and away, for fans to listen to as they commute home or tune in from a distance.
The show is set to run for 30 minutes following the final buzzer on 104.5 The Team. Fans will hear initial reactions and a game recap to start the segment, followed by interviews with the team. Coach
Dwayne Killings and select student-athletes will join ESPN Radio's Rodger Wyland and Michael Johnson Jr. to break down the contest, give insights, opinions, and responses, and discuss the team's next matchup.
