Key Stat Lines
Head Coach Jared Ambrose: "Senior Day is always special. I've got two guys next to me who have given everything to this program, and it hurts not to send them off with a win. We didn't do enough. It was too little, too late, and we have to be better in a lot of areas.... We need to be more consistent in every phase running it, throwing it, catching it."

How it Happened:
  • The Great Danes got on the board first when a long kickoff return led to a 50-yard Jack Shields touchdown pass to Lasalle Rose Jr on the first play of the game. The PAT was no good, leading to a 6-0 lead for UAlbany.
  • Towson answered back on the next drive when the Tigers capped off a seven-play, 82-yard drive with an 11-yard touchdown rush to make it 7-6 with 12:03 left in the first.
  • The Tigers extended the lead on their next drive with a two-yard rushing touchdown from Kahseim Phillips, 14-6.
  • With under nine minutes left in the first half, the Towson defense forced a fumble and recovered the ball to set up the Tigers' offense at midfield. The turnover resulted in a 31-yard field goal for Towson to push the lead to 17-6.
  • The Tigers' offense added to their lead when quarterback Andrew Indorf found receiver John Dunmore in the back of the end zone from 16 yards out to make the lead 24-6 with 3:45 left in the half.
  • On the following drive, the UAlbany special teams unit recovered a dropped punt to set the offense up at the 40-yard line.
  • Following the turnover, quarterback Aiden Semo found the end zone on the ground from four yards out. The PAT was blocked to make the score 24-12 heading into the half.
  • From the five-yard line, a bad snap rolled out the back of the end zone, resulting in a safety for Towson to make the score 26-12 just over three minutes into the second half.
  • With just under five minutes to go in the third, a deep pass from Shields intended for Tavahri Groves was intercepted by Towson's Zakaa Brown at the Tigers' 38-yard line.
  • Two plays later, the Great Dane defense forced a fumble and recovered the loose ball at the six-yard line. On the next play, Jojo Uga found the end zone to cut the deficit to 26-19.
  • With 12:01 left in the game, Towson kicker Cadem Williams made a 47-yard field goal to push the lead to 10, 29-19.
  • The Tigers took over on the UAlbany 47-yard line and capped off the drive with a seven-yard rushing touchdown to push the score to 36-19, which would prove to be the final score of the game.
