Leading the Pack
- UAlbany is 11-11 overall, and 5-4 at home this season; Binghamton holds a 10-12 overall record while 3-9 on the road.
- So far this season the Great Danes are averaging, per game, 75.5 points, 27.6 field goals, 6.8 threes, 13.5 free throws, 33.5 rebounds, 12.1 assists, 8.4 steals, and 1.7 blocks.
- Marshall leads the team in points, totaling 278 in 20 games, for an average of 13.9. He's shooting 99-245 (.404%) from the field, 29-91 (.319%) from beyond the arc, and 51-63 (.810%) from the line, leading the team in field goals and threes.
- Leading in rebounds for the Great Danes is Neely with 152 total (42 off – 110 def), averaging 6.9 per game. He also leads in free throws, going 64-81 (.790%)
- Kacper Klaczek has led UAlbany in denying points with a team-high 11 blocks. Joshua holds the team-high for steals with 33, as well as assists with 57.
- Three Great Danes are averaging more than 30 minutes per game, Joshua (33.6), Langford Jr. (30.8), and Marshall (30.4).
Scouting Binghamton
The Bearcats are coming off a win against Vermont 75-72, ending their five-game losing streak and earning them their second conference win this season. Binghamton is averaging 69.9 points, 25.0 field goals, 7.7 threes, 12.1 free throws, 34.2 rebounds, 13.9 assists, 13.7 turnovers, 4.8 steals, and 3.0 blocks per game.
Tymu Chenery leads the Bearcats in points (318) where in 22 games he's averaging 14.5 per game. Chenery also has team-highs in field goals shooting 117-241 (.485%), assists (72), and blocks (25). From the line Chenery has gone 43-68 (.632%), and from the arc he's shot 41-97 (.423%).
Gavin Walsh leads the Bearcats in rebounds (212), free-throws made 65-97 (.670%), and steals (17).

January 18, 2025| Less than a month ago UAlbany and Binghamton had their first meeting of the year, with the Great Danes taking the win 70-65. In their last meeting, DeMarr Langford Jr. went a perfect 5-5 from the field in 37 minutes of play with five rebounds (3 off – 2 def), and five steals. Byron Joshua led the Great Danes in scoring with 15 points. Justin Neely, Byron Joshua, and Kacper Klaczek all recorded two assists. UAlbany outrebounded Binghamton 32-29. UAlbany went 22-51 (43.1%) from the field, 7-26 (26.9%) beyond the arc, and 19-25 (76.0%) from the free-throw line.
UAlbany is 28-18 all-time and 15-7 at home against the Bearcats and looks to extend its one-game winning streak against Binghamton.

January 25, 2025, | The UAlbany men's basketball team hosted the NJIT Highlanders for Mascot Madness and CvC Suits and Sneakers, where the Great Danes prevailed 68-62, adding a conference win to their tally. In the game Five Great Danes scored double-digit points, Amir Lindsey leading the pack with 15 in 26 minutes of play. Kacper Klaczek recorded a team-high four assists and eight rebounds. Justin Neely and Amir Lindsey each had a perfect free-throw record, Neely 5-5 and Lindsey 2-2. NJIT outrebounded UAlbany 33-37. The Great Danes went 21-49 (42.9%) from the field, 5-17 (29.4%) beyond the arc, and 21-28 (75%) from the field.
Drive the Lane with UAlbany Hoops
Drive the Lane with UAlbany Hoops is officially back for a third season! Coaches Dwayne Killings and Colleen Mullen, along with select student-athletes, will join ESPN Radio 104.5 The Team's Charlie Voelker and Dan Bahl every Monday from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. live from City Line Bar & Grill for a weekly segment entitled 'Drive the Lane with UAlbany Hoops'.
Fans are invited to come out to City Line Bar & Grill to join Coach Killings, Coach Mullen, student-athletes, and the ESPN Radio 104.5 The Team crew. Food and drink specials will be available every week as the teams embark on their new seasons and talk hoops every Monday.
Postgame Show
The UAlbany Basketball Postgame Show returns this season to 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio. The show will begin immediately following all games, home and away, for fans to listen to as they commute home or tune in from a distance.
The show is set to run for 30 minutes following the final buzzer on 104.5 The Team. Fans will hear initial reactions and a game recap to start the segment followed by interviews with the team. Coach Dwayne Killings and select student-athletes will join ESPN Radio's Rodger Wyland and Michael Johnson Jr. to break down the contest, give insights, opinions, and responses, and discuss the team's next matchup.
Fans can tune in to ESPN Radio 104.5 the Team by turning the dial on their radio or by streaming on their computers or smartphones.
