• Senior Alison Smisdom led the team with three points from one goal and one assist.
• Graduate student Charlotte Triggs and senior Floor de Ruiter tallied one goal and one assist, respectively.
• As a team, the Great Danes outshot UC Davis, 21-4, including a 15-1 advantage in shots on goal.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• UAlbany started hot with two shots within 90 seconds of action.
• The Aggies flipped the script and earned the first penalty corner of the game halfway through the first quarter.
• Tallying five shots throughout the second quarter, the Great Danes did not allow an attempt from UC Davis to hold the first-half advantage, 10-3, in the scoreless game.
• Less than three minutes into the second half, UAlbany earned a penalty corner, which led to the first goal of the contest.
• Assisted by Floor de Ruiter, Alison Smisdom tipped the ball over the goalie's head and into the net.
• Charlotte Triggs extended the Great Danes' lead 1:30 into the final quarter.
• Taking a pass from Smisdom, Triggs redirected the ball to send it past the Aggie goalkeeper.
• UC Davis added a shot in the 58th minute but the Great Danes were able to hold onto the 2-0 shutout victory.
