How it Happened:
- The Great Danes started Kyle Locklear on the bump in game one. Austin Wainer started for the Bulldogs.
- Bryant started things quickly with Zac Zyons hitting a lead-off home run off the first pitch of the game. Branding Durand singled to the outfield to score the runner from second before scoring on a passed ball, giving the Bulldogs an early 3-0 advantage.
- UAlbany started the bottom of the first with back-to-back singles. Ryan Ferremi capitalized with a home run to level the score. The Great Danes took the lead with Levi McAllister hitting an RBI single, making it 4-3.
- Bryant reclaimed the lead in the third inning with Daniel Baruch hitting a double down the left field line to drive in two runs, making it 5-4.
- Ryan Pittz was brought in to pitch for the Great Danes in the fourth inning.
- In the sixth inning, Jackson Phinney hit a solo bomb to start the inning, pushing the Bulldogs' lead to 6-4.
- Cregg Scherrer came in from the pen in the sixth inning for UAlbany.
- Chris Einemann hit a double down the left-field line to bring in the runner from third. Einemann scored on a single by Zyons to make it 8-4 in Bryant's favor.
- The Bulldogs brought in Jack Pletter to pitch in the eighth inning.
- Cam Fuer came in to pitch for the Great Danes in the top of the ninth.
- Bryant added insurance runs in the top of the ninth scoring twice on consecutive wild pitches. Gavin Greger scored on a fielder's choice to push the score to 11-4.
- Looking to battle back in the ninth, McAllister scored on a fielder's choice. Ferremi followed with an RBI single to make 11-6.
- The Bulldogs claimed game one of the series, 11-6.
