Scouting Oneonta
Oneonta opened its season on the road against Binghamton on Thursday, November 7 in a 82-63 loss against the Bearcats. The Red Dragons went 23-57 (40.4%) from the field and 2-10 (20.0%) from beyond the arc and nailing 15-24 (62.5%) free throws. Trailing 42-20 in the first half, Oneonta won the second half outscoring Binghamton 43-40. Leading the Red Dragons was Zyeir Lawrence who recorded 18 points going 8-13 from the field and grabbing five rebounds in the game. Cam LaClair dropped both teams three pointers in the game going 4-4 for 13 points with Elijah Castillo went 4-10 in field goals and 5-7 from the line for 13 points with a team high two steals.

Sasha French scored nine points off the bench in the first half. The Great Danes used a 19-2 run in the middle of the second half to build a 20-point lead.
Ahmad Clark scored 13 of his 20 points in the second half. Clark has scored 20 or more in three out of four games this season. UAlbany shot 51.4% in the second half. Four Great Danes scored in double-figures

The Great Danes opened the 2024-25 season on the road against Army West Point of the Patriot League.
Byron Joshua led the Great Danes finishing the night with 15 points going 6-11 from the field and 1-3 on three-pointers. The guard also recorded two steals, two assists, and two rebounds.
Sully Adewale was heavy on their Glass grabbing eight rebounds.
Zach Matulu was the Purple and Golds leader in assists with three. Both Adewale and
DeMarr Langford Jr. finished with one block each. UAlbany finished the night going 22-60 (36.7%) from the field, 4-24 (16.7%) from behind the arc and 11-16 (68.8%) from the free throw line. A total of 30 points for the Great Danes were scored in the paint with nine points coming from second-chance points with six lead changes occurring in the game.

Dwayne Killings and Colleen Mullen, along with select student-athletes, will join ESPN Radio 104.5 The Team's Charlie Voelker and Dan Bahl every Monday from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. live from City Line Bar & Grill for a weekly segment entitled 'Drive the Lane with UAlbany Hoops'.Â

Fans are invited to come out to City Line Bar & Grill to join Coach Killings, Coach Mullen, student-athletes and the ESPN Radio 104.5 The Team crew. Food and drink specials will be available on a weekly basis as the teams embark on their new seasons and talk hoops every Monday.Â

The UAlbany Basketball Postgame Show returns this season to 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio. The show will begin immediately following all games, home and away, for fans to listen to as they commute home or tune in from a distance.

The show is set to run for 30 minutes following the final buzzer on 104.5 The Team. Fans will hear initial reactions and a game recap to start the segment followed by interviews with the team. CoachÂ
Dwayne Killings and select student-athletes will join ESPN Radio's Rodger Wyland and Michael Johnson Jr. to break down the contest, give insights, opinions, responses, and to discuss the team's next matchup.
