Owen Birkman gave us a great start today, he continues to improve each time out. I think that the free passes came back to haunt us, they had a big innings. But the guys fought back, I was impressed with that. We have an oppoertunity to win the series tomorrow."

How it Happened:
- Owen Birkman started on the mound for the Great Danes, Gabe Driscoll started for Binghamton.
- Binghamton got on the board in the first inning following a bases-loaded hit by pitch.
- Binghamton's Reifler made it 2-0 in the third inning with a solo home run to right. Gunning homered to right center in the fourth to make it 3-0.
- The Great Danes got on the board in the seventh after Will Feil scored from third on a wild pitch.
- The Bearcats added four runs in the eighth to make it a 7-1 ballgame.
- UAlbany started to rally in the bottom half of the eighth. Feil doubled to bring home Jason Bottari and Chris Fisher. Danny Alvarez then doubled to bring home Feil, making it 7-4.
- The Great Danes added one more run in the ninth when Will Binder brought home Devan Kruzinski on a fielder's choice.
