- UAlbany responded in the top of the second when Owen Silliman brought home Jason Bottari on a ground ball to third, making it 2-1.
- Maine added two runs in the third on a groundout and an infield single, making it 4-1.
- The Black Bears made it 5-1 in the fourth inning after a solo home run from Ryan Turenne.
- Thomas Quinn entered the game for UAlbany to start the fifth.
