Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team fell, 13-9, in the final game of the weekend series against America East foe UMBC.

Head Coach Jon Mueller: "We really struggled on the mound today and unfortunately our defense escaped us, we've been pretty good in that category. We're going to have to move on and learn from this. We told the guys, we don't talk about losing, we talk about learning, and this was a good learning experience for them. Unfortunately, we weren't able to come out with a victory this weekend, but we'll look forward to next weekend with NJIT."
