ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany men's basketball team will play its second consecutive home game as the Great Danes face Bryant on Wednesday night. The matchup will be Bryant's first in Albany since the 2017-18 season. Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm from the McDonough Sports Complex and will be broadcast on ESPN+ and ESPN Radio 104.5 The Team in Albany.

Leading the Pack
- Gerald Drumgoole Jr. continues to lead the team in scoring, averaging 15.2 points per game. That mark puts him fifth in the entire America East. The Rochester native is currently shooting 36.3% from the field and 35.4% from beyond the arc.
- Jonathan Beagle is now a six-time America East Rookie of the Week. The Big man from Hudson falls leads all freshmen (conference games only) in scoring (12.5 ppg) and rebounding (6.9 rpg) and ranks second in assists (2.5 agp).
- Marcus Jackson has made strides throughout the season, averaging 8.5 points over the last seven games – including two career-high outings with 15 points scored. The rookie has made his way into the starting lineup for the Great Danes on a consistent basis.
- Aaron Reddish was a consistent shooter from beyond the arc throughout the month of January. The sophomore went 11-21, a 52% clip, from deep and registered a career-high scoring game (21 points) against UMass Lowell on Jan. 8.
- The Great Danes are averaging 66.5 points per game with opponents averaging 74.8.
- UAlbany is shooting 41% from the field, 32.9% from three, and 70.8% from the free throw line.

The UAlbany men's basketball team fell to Vermont at home in the 2023 Big Purple Growl on Saturday evening by a score of 87-68.
- Gerald Drumgoole Jr. led the Great Danes with 27 points, going 8-15 from the field and 6-6 from the charity stripe. He also had a team-high three assists in 36 minutes of action.
- Jonathan Beagle finished with 12 points on 5-6 shooting and held a game-high nine rebounds.
- Aaron Reddish went 2-7 from beyond the arc, scoring 9 points.
- Marcus Jackson went 3-6 from the field, finishing with eight points, three rebounds and a steal.

Scouting Bryant
The Bulldogs come into Wednesday's contest sitting third in the conference with a 6-4 record, having won their last four home games but dropping their last two road contests. Bryant last played on Saturday, Feb. 04, collecting a 24-point win (70-46) over New Hampshire.
- The Bulldogs have four players averaging double-digit scoring: Sherif Gross-Bullock (16.4ppg), Charles Pride (15.6ppg), Earl Timberlake (13.8ppg) & Antwan Walker (13.7ppg). The four players shoot a combine 49.75% from the field and 37.2% from three.
- Bryant is shooting 47.2% from the field and 35.7% from deep in conference games this season.
- Earl Timberlake averages 8.4 rebounds per games, putting him second in the conference. He was named the conference's Player of the Week on Monday after averaging a double-double of 15.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in a 2-0 week.
- Kvonn Cramer in 13 games played has picked up 17 blocks.
Last Time Against Bryant
UAlbany last played Bryant on Jan. 11, a road matchup in which the Bulldogs won by a score of 86-69. The Great Danes trailed by about 10 points for much of the first half before Bryant was able to increase the lead in the second, sealing the victory. Freshmen

- Sarju Patel went 4-8 from beyond the arc, finishing with 12 points.
- Gerald Drumgoole Jr. had a team-high six rebounds and a team-high five assists, finishing with six points.
- UAlbany shot 44.3% (27-61) from the field and 29.2% (7-24) from three. Bryant shot 53.3% (32-60) from the field and 48.4% (15-31) from three.
#AEHoops Notes (2.6.23)
Three men's basketball teams went unbeaten last week, the three teams currently at the top of the #AEHoops standings. Vermont won its lone game while UMass Lowell and Bryant each went 2-0.

- Had 18 points, 14 rebounds and five assists in a win over Maine on Wednesday.
- Followed up with 13 points and 10 boards vs. UNH on Saturday.

- Scored team-high 19 points and added six rebounds vs. Maine on Saturday.
- Averaged 10.5 points and 4.0 rebounds for the week while shooting 62 percent from the floor (8-for-13).
- This is Brown's second #AEHoops Rookie of the Week honor of the season (12/19).
