SHORT STORY: The Great Danes opened with a strong 23-point first quarter and did not let up on their way to a 22-point victory over UMass, Wednesday afternoon.
COACH COLLEEN MULLEN: "Today was a total team effort. We handled UMass' runs and dug in and got key stops when we needed them. We had a terrific pace on offense and had a balanced attack. Anytime you have 23 assists on 25 made field goals, you know the ball is moving and the team is playing with great chemistry. I'm extremely proud of the team's execution on both ends of the floor."
