BOSTON – Two members of the University at Albany men's soccer team, Shafique Wilson and Ethan Cook, earned spots on the 2023 America East All-Conference teams, announced Friday morning.
 
Wilson, a senior goalkeeper from Kleinburg, Ontario, Canada, was named to the All-Academic team.  Wilson pulled down a 3.68 GPA studying Business Administration, and earns his first-ever All-Academic honor.  On the field, Wilson started 13 games for the Great Danes and played 1,170 minutes, recording 27 saves at a rate of .600 with four shutouts.
 
Cook, a freshman defender from Ballston Spa, N.Y., earned All-Rookie honors.  Cook appeared in 12 games in his debut season at UAlbany, and made six starts, while playing more than 400 minutes.
 
Major award winners will be announced on Tuesday, November 7.
